Give Through Colorado’s Tax Check-Off Program

Looking for an easy way to support Habitat Colorado while filing a Colorado state tax return? Colorado’s Voluntary Contributions (Tax Check-Off) program makes it possible to donate a portion of your state tax refund to help expand affordable homeownership across the state.

How it works

  • When filing, look for “Voluntary Contributions” (sometimes called “tax check-off”).

  • Choose the Habitat for Humanity of Colorado Fund and enter a donation amount.

  • Your gift will be processed with your state return.

Good to know

  • This option is available whether you file online or by mail.

  • If the refund amount changes during processing, the donation amount may adjust too.

A small choice at tax time can help more Colorado families access the stability and opportunity that come with affordable homeownership.
