Looking for an easy way to support Habitat Colorado while filing a Colorado state tax return? Colorado’s Voluntary Contributions (Tax Check-Off) program makes it possible to donate a portion of your state tax refund to help expand affordable homeownership across the state.
How it works
When filing, look for “Voluntary Contributions” (sometimes called “tax check-off”).
Choose the Habitat for Humanity of Colorado Fund and enter a donation amount.
Your gift will be processed with your state return.
Good to know
This option is available whether you file online or by mail.
If the refund amount changes during processing, the donation amount may adjust too.
A small choice at tax time can help more Colorado families access the stability and opportunity that come with affordable homeownership.
